Goldman benefits from healthcare deal boom

Goldman Sachs, the top healthcare adviser of the year so far, has racked up two more deals worth a total of $2.5bn (€1.9bn) as healthcare dealmaking tripled for the year to date over 2006 figures.

Goldman is advising HealthSouth and Biosite on deals announced yesterday.
