Tim Bunting, European head of ECM at Goldman Sachs, is to become global co-head of equity capital markets alongside a banker who made his name working in investment banking and debt capital markets.

David Solomon, a member of the committee that runs Goldman's fixed income, currency and commodity division, will join Bunting at the top of the ECM group. Mark Tercek, co-head of global ECM, will remain in the role as a third co-head.
