Goldman Sachs Asset Management has hired Peter Thompson to help it build a presence in Europe’s booming exchange traded fund market.
Thompson, who joins the firm as managing director and head of its European ETF business, was co-founder of Source — the ETF provider that was acquired by Invesco PowerShares in 2017. He will report to Michael Crinieri, global head of GSAM’s ETF business.
