Goldman names four securities co-heads

The two heads of Goldman Sachs’ securities unit have handed day-to-day responsibility for the division to four new global co-heads, a day after being named vice-chairmen of the US investment bank.

Michael Sherwood, co-chief executive of Goldman Sachs International, and Michael Evans, the bank’s chairman in Asia, were named vice-chairman yesterday in addition to their existing roles, but have relinquished their titles as global co-heads of securities at the Wall Street bank.
