Goldman Sachs has promoted Christian Meissner and Matthew Westerman to co-heads of European equity capital markets, replacing Tim Bunting, who recently became joint global head of global ECM.

Westerman joined Goldman in June 2000 from NM Rothschild where he was also a joint chief executive of ABN Amro Rothschild, its equity capital markets joint venture with ABN Amro.
