Goldman Sachs hires another managing director to chase smaller deals

Bank's cross-markets group has grown rapidly through external recruitment and internal transfers

Goldman Sachs has hired another dealmaker to its new team chasing smaller investment banking deals, which has grown rapidly since launching seven months ago. 

The US bank has appointed Janki Lalani Gandhi as a managing director in its cross-markets group, focused on the consumer sector, a spokeswoman confirmed. Los Angeles-based Gandhi has spent the last three years at Lincoln International, the mid-market investment bank.
