US investment bank Goldman Sachs has managed to narrow its gender pay gap marginally over the past year, as the pay gap at many financial companies grew.
Women at Goldman Sachs International were paid 35.5% less than men on a median basis last year, compared with a median gap of 36.4% in 2017. The median woman earned a bonus that was 68.9% lower than the median man’s — the same gap as last year.
