Goldman Sachs has made another eye-catching move into the UK's retail finance market, taking a material stake in Nutmeg, the high-profile digital wealth manager.

The US investment bank has “co-led” a new £45m fundraising round at the privately held firm, Nutmeg said on January 22, alongside existing investor Convoy, a Hong Kong-based financial advisory business.
