Goldman Sachs is offering hundreds of new female recruits a one-year trial on its trading floors in an attempt to shake up its male-dominated workforce.

Senior executives at Wall Street’s best-known investment bank have adopted a flexible approach that gives its 2019 graduate recruits the chance to work as a trader for a year. If they are unsuccessful in the role, the female employees have been told they can transfer to a different department within the company without any reproach.
