Goldman Sachs will more than treble headcount in Sweden's capital as it pushes ahead with plans to move investment bankers to continental Europe and ensure it can continue to serve trading clients and investors after Brexit.
Goldman will move into a larger 19,000 square foot office close to Stockholm's five-star Grand Hôtel between now and the start of 2019. Around 100 staff from its trading, banking and fund management divisions will be based there — a significant increase on the 30 people currently based in the city.
