Goldman’s chief underwriter Leouzon retires

Partner, who joined as an executive director in 1999, retires after 19 years with the bank

Eugene Leouzon, global chief underwriting officer at Goldman Sachs, has retired from the bank after 19 years. He will continue to work with the bank as an advisory director.

Leouzon started at Goldman Sachs in its investment banking division in 1999, and rose to become the chief operating officer of the leveraged finance business in Europe. He also ran the firm’s European loan desk.
