Gottex Fund Management, a $6.4bn alternatives manager, has signed a joint venture with New Zealand-based investment manager Staples Rodway Asset Management, according to a statement from the firm. The new venture, Gottex SR Funds, will offer multi-asset investment products to New Zealand investors seeking diversified international investment exposure.
Guy Holroyd is the managing director of GSRF, and the existing SRF International Capital Growth Fund, which was established in 2011, is being folded into the joint venture and rebranded as the Gottex SR Multi-Asset Global Fund. Bill Landes, senior managing director and chief investment officer of Gottex's multi-asset business, will be closely involved in the management of the fund.
