Guy Hands' private equity firm Terra Firma Capital Partners is planning to raise its first buyout fund since making its ill-fated investment in music firm EMI, a person familiar with the matter said.
The mooted fundraising was originally reported by Sky News, which said Terra Firma will embark on talks with investors next week, seeking to raise €3bn for buyout deals.
