The UK chancellor of the Exchequer will begin an international roadshow to sell UK financial services around the world immediately after the UK’s exit from the EU next March.

Philip Hammond announced his intention on December 11 to begin discussions with large global markets including those in Japan, India and China “from April 2019, as soon as the UK leaves in the European Union”.
