Hanging around like a banker

If you want to see senior bankers in London hanging upside down from a trapeze, the place to be is Guildhall Yard, Gresham Street, at lunchtime on June 27.

The occasion is Heart of the City Day, the launch of a new charity and community initiative sponsored by the Corporation of London, the Bank of England and the Financial Services Authority. Alderman Sir Clive Martin and British Bankers' Association president Andrew Buxton have promised to have a go on the trapeze - and, if you are lucky, you might see Bank of England Governor Sir Eddie George and FSA chairman Howard Davies at it as well.
