Hanna quits private equity for Cadbury Schweppes

Ken Hanna, a partner at the London office of Compass Partners, a private equity group, has joined Cadbury Schweppes as chief financial officer, in a rare move out of the buy-out sector.

Hanna brings more than 15 years corporate and operational experience to Cadbury Schweppes, which is still digesting the $4.2bn (€3.3bn) acquisition of Adams Confectionary it completed in March 2003. In October last year the food and drinks giant set out its strategic goals for the next four years including a significant restructuring programme.
