City's first Chinese fund manager names new chief

Harvest Fund Management, the $101 billion Chinese funds house that was hailed by UK Chancellor George Osborne in 2014 when it became the first manager from the country to choose London as an international base, has named a new head of its City office.

Peter Lindqvist, an investment distribution specialist who has worked in the funds industry since the early 1990s, became chief executive of Harvest Global Investments (UK), the London subsidiary of the Beijing-based fund manager, on April 11, he confirmed to Financial News.
