The City of London is preparing a fresh push for an office return after nearly 18 months of working from home during the Covid-19 pandemic, as the UK government looks to loosen restrictions even despite rising cases of the virus.

Some large investment banks have embraced flexible working, yet Wall Street titans including Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley are pushing for a broader return to the office.
