Hawkpoint Partners has hired a former senior ING Barings banker as a vice-chairman.

Christopher Kemball, 53, was a managing director and a member of the European management committee at ING Barings and had previously been regional head of corporate finance in Europe. Before Barings, he worked for Dillon Read in New York.
