Firms on both sides of the Atlantic have this week hired bankers with experience in healthcare, one of busiest sectors this year, which has seen more than $20bn of mergers and acquisitions since the Obama administration's health plans gained US Supreme Court support at the end of June.
UBS today announced that it had hired Dr Anthony Hartley as a managing director in pharmaceuticals in an internal memo seen by Financial News. A spokeswoman for UBS confirmed the contents of the memo.
