The UK's one-time most senior military officer, an ex-Pentagon official and former leaders at the SEC and Goldman Sachs are among the high-profile names to have joined the board of Sir Michael Hintze's $14 billion hedge fund CQS.
The new recruits are part of CQS's efforts to boost its governance. They join Hintze, former UK City minister Lord Myners, Hintze's former Credit Suisse First Boston colleague Marc Hotimsky and Sir Michael Peat, a former private secretary to Prince Charles, on the supervisory board of the hedge fund.
