A group formed by MPs to raise awareness and understanding of hedge funds in parliament will receive services worth £50,000 from the industry’s trade body, it has emerged.

The Alternative Investment Management Association declared to parliament that it will spend the sum in its role as secretariat to the group. The figure covers hours dedicated by Aima staff to supporting the group and other costs related to holding events and booking rooms in parliament.
