Henderson Global Investors, the UK fund manager, said its fund flows had held up "pretty well" despite tough market conditions in the first quarter – but warned that the UK's Brexit vote on June 23 was weighing on investor appetite.

Reporting first-quarter trading results on April 27, the asset manager said it saw a slight rise in assets under management to £92.7 billion in the first quarter, up from £92 billion at the end of 2015.
