Henderson settles John Laing legal case

Fund manager agrees to pay court costs – without admitting any liability – in return for withdrawal of claims over its ill-fated acquisition of infrastructure company

Henderson Global Investors has reached a final settlement with 22 of its pension fund clients which sued the fund manager over an ill-fated acquisition of infrastructure company John Laing.

Henderson has agreed to meet its clients' court costs in return for them withdrawing their claims, according to a joint statement to the London Stock Exchange.
