Henderson Investors is expanding in Europe through an asset management relationship with Banca Popolare di Lodi, Italy's ninth largest bank.

Gino Pennacchi, who had previously been assisting Henderson in its efforts to establish an Italian strategy and presence, will head up its Italian operations in Milan.
