One of London's top investment bankers, who resigned after a decade at Deutsche Bank in a shock move last summer, is poised to return to the City in a senior role at Credit Suisse.

Henrik Aslaksen is joining the bank as head of strategic client coverage in Europe, the Middle East and Africa within Credit Suisse's investment banking division, according to an internal memo sent to staff on April 20. He will be based in London and start at the bank on April 25.
