HgCapital has appointed Nic Humphries as a new director in the UK private equity house's information and communications technology investments.

The appointment comes after Trevor Bailey, HgCapital's global head of information and communications technology, moved to Germany early this year to be managing director of the company's Frankfurt office. Bailey will focus on German investments, while Humphries will spearhead HgCapital's information and communications technology activity in the UK.
