Private equity firm HgCapital has announced 15 internal promotions, following an active year for the European mid-market private equity firm in which it nearly tripled its investors’ money from realisations.

The London-based firm said on Tuesday that Andrew Land, a member of the services team who joined HgCapital in 2011 from his previous role as a managing director at hedge fund manager Och-Ziff Capital Management, has been promoted to partner.
