HgCapital is set to win the auction for Boosey & Hawkes, the UK-listed music rights company, after Stirling Square, the only rival bidder, made a formal statement that it will not raise its offer.

Nick Martin, an investment director of HgCapital, said: "We look forward to bringing the acquisition of Boosey & Hawkes to a swift conclusion."
