Deutsche has advised on the three largest global utility, energy, or oil & gas deals announced this year, according to Dealogic: Canadian Suncor Energy's $18.4bn (€13.1bn) purchase of Petro-Canada, Italian utility Enel's acquisition of a $14bn stake in Endesa, a Spanish utility; and German utility RWE's $12.6bn purchase of Dutch rival Essent.
