HSBC advises Skandia on Japanese disposal

HSBC has advised scandal-ridden Skandia on the Swedish financial services group's ¥20bn (€150m) disposal of Skandia Japan.

Skandia said it had reached a definitive agreement with Millea Holdings, the holding company of Japan's The Tokio Marine & Fire Insurance Co, which will acquire 100% of the shares of Skandia Japan.
