HSBC's global head of equities — who was handed a bigger role just five months ago — is set to leave the UK lender as it continues to reshape its investment bank.
Hossein Zaimi, an HSBC veteran who has been with the bank for over 16 years, is set to leave the bank, according to a person familiar with the matter. He was based in Hong Kong and the UK lender is understood to be looking for a replacement for his position.
