HSBC hires O'Malley to run US syndicated finance

HSBC has recruited Mary-Ellen O'Malley from Banca Intesa as head of its syndicated finance group in New York.

In her new role O'Malley, who joins HSBC Securities (USA) as a vice president, will report to Jim Brucia, head of North American debt finance, and to Richard Cartledge, the UK banking group's London-based global head of syndicated finance.
