HSBC has added two senior bankers to its corporate broking business as investment banks jostle for position in the UK dealmaking league tables.

The UK lender has hired Chloe Ponsonby as a managing director within its corporate broking unit, according to a memo seen by Financial News. She comes from Panmure Gordon, where she has spent nearly six years.
