HSBC's woes have multiplied as the investment bank's entire media research team, headed by Charles Peacock, walked out en masse Monday afternoon.

The team is thought to include Julie Laing and Bridie Barrett. The bank confirmed that the team resigned on Monday but refused to comment on where they are going or the notice period they are working out. None of the team could be reached at HSBC's offices.
