HSBC and recruited two directors for its team advising wealthy clients from the Middle East, a region that has emerged as the focus of a round of appointments at top private banks over the past week.

HSBC Private Bank has appointed Anthony Hingley and Hicham Najem as directors in its 35-strong team of London-based investment advisers serving clients from the Middle East and North Africa.
