HSBC has named 11 new managing directors within its sales and trading division in Europe as part of the UK bank’s annual round of promotions across the business.

The company made the promotions earlier this week, according to people familiar with the matter, favouring employees in its London operation over other locations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
