HSBC Investment Bank in London has shed seven traders in its treasury and capital markets team in the past week.

Another 20 people left the team in October. HSBC has cut 200 investment banking staff in London since October. The cuts included 60 staff from HSBC's 400-strong corporate finance team in London, the closure of the internet and technology team, as well as the software and computers team.
