IAM, the $1.5bn (€1.3bn) fund of hedge funds group, has bolstered its investment team with the appointment of Peter Rose, formerly head of European hedge fund risk management at Bear Stearns, as a senior analyst.

Rose's initial focus will be on analysing underlying hedge funds following relative value strategies.
