Linklaters, one of Europe's largest law firms, has opened an office in Lisbon to capitalise on the growing unification between businesses and governmental industry regulation in Portugal and Spain.

Linklaters' move makes it the first of the large international law firms of the City of London to enter the Portuguese market with its own lawyers.
