Icap rebuilds Sydney futures business

Icap, the world's biggest interdealer broker, has re-opened its Sydney futures operation with a new, eight-strong team of brokers. It follows a two-month hiatus after rival BGC hired 21 of Icap's Australian employees.

BGC's recruitment drive in January included Icap's entire Australian futures broking team and its former head of Australia and Asia, Mark Webster.
