Intermediate Capital Group, the UK leveraged debt specialist, is planning a syndicated loan or private bond issue to finance its growing mezzanine business.
Tom Atwood, managing director at ICG said: "We are out in the debt market at the moment and we will be expanding our loan capacity." The firm is most likely to use the syndicated loan market, where it has used Greenwich NatWest to arrange a loan previously. If not, it could use the private placement bond market.
