Prospective changes in the way UK retail investors receive advice have encouraged David Salisbury, European chief executive at Dimensional Fund Advisors, to wheel out a range of unit trusts.

The FSA recently issued a consultation paper suggesting that Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) should be paid through fees from their clients rather than commissions from fund managers.
