IMI hires Deutsche banker to head M&A

IMI, the UK engineering group, has hired Greg McDonald, a corporate financier from Deutsche Bank, to head its mergers and acquisitions team.

McDonald had been in Deutsche's European industrials group. He had previously worked at ING Barings, but moved to the German bank in June last year with his boss Julian Tunnicliffe, managing director and head of industrial manufacturing corporate finance at ING.
