In brief: ABN Amro and WestLB hire structuring specialists

ABN Amro has hired Richard Whittle from UBS Investment Bank as global head of exotic credit derivatives, a new role in the Dutch bank's financial markets unit.

Whittle, who worked at UBS from 1997, will report to Arne Groes, global head of credit trading. He will focus on a range of structured credit derivatives and will greatly enhance the bank's ability to structure and trade cross-product finance for clients, according to Niall Cameron, global head of credit markets.
