M&G, part of Prudential, has appointed David Jane to the new post of head of equity investments, following the decision by Vivian Bazelgette to retire as chief investment officer equities.

Jane is currently head of M&G's investment process and manages M&G's global financials fund. He has 15 years' experience covering retail, wholesale and life markets.
