Scottish Widows Investment Partnership has appointed Jan de Bruijn as senior fund manager, joining from Shell Pensioenfonds Beheer, the Shell pension fund in the Hague.

De Bruijn will be joining SWIP's Asia and Emerging Markets team in Edinburgh, reporting to Graham Wood, head of International Research. De Bruijn will have a joint analyst/fund manager role.
