Wharton Asset Management has appointed Stefano Loreti as a senior analyst in its asset-backed portfolio management group reporting to Maurice Salem, the firm's managing director.
Loreti joins from Abbey National Treasury Services where he was a senior credit analyst in the firm's asset-backed securities department. Before that he held various credit analyst positions at Bank of Bermuda and Gulf International Bank. At Wharton he will join the team responsible for managing the $1.5bn (€1.32bn) Y2K Finance Fund.
