Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) has hired Sandra Yeager as a managing director and head of global research. Yeager will be based in MSIM's New York office and report to Joseph McAlinden, MSIM's chief investment officer. She was previously an associate director of research and a portfolio manager at Alliance Capital Management, where she spent 14 years. Prior to working for Alliance Yeager was an analyst at Kidder, Peabody & Co. Morgan Stanley Investment Management runs over $420bn (€342bn) in assets, as at the end of 2003.
