Permira's success in reaching €5.1bn ($6bn) in Europe's largest fundraising effort is down to continued dialogue with investors, according to senior investment partner Charles Sherwood.
"The day we finished Permira Europe II we were thinking about the next fundraising â well, almost that day, " he said.
